What goes on an infographic
One image, one message. Choose the benefit that matters most to your buyer, show the product clearly, and add only the words needed to prove it.
| Element | Guideline |
|---|---|
| Headline | The benefit in a few words, not the product name |
| Callouts | Two or three short labels pointing at the part they describe |
| Product | Clean, well lit and large, so the callouts have something to point at |
| Icons | One consistent style, used only where they add meaning |
| Background | Simple, with enough contrast that the text stays readable |
Steps to make one
- Pick the one benefit this image proves, for example "keeps drinks cold for 24 hours".
- Start from a clear product photo on a plain background.
- Write the headline and callouts, then cut every word you can.
- Place callouts next to the feature they describe, with space around the product.
- Use the same fonts and colors as your other images.
- Check it at phone size. If you have to squint, enlarge the text or remove some.
Mistakes to avoid
- Too many callouts, so nothing stands out.
- Claims you cannot support, such as "best" or "#1".
- Text over a busy background without a plate behind it.
- An infographic that does not match the rest of the set.
See what the rest of the set should show in what each listing image should show, and the file rules in the image requirements guide.
Make the whole set at once
ReddStudio creates the infographics, lifestyle and comparison images together from one product photo so they share type, color and lighting. Your first listing is free with a watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark and add A+ Content for desktop and mobile.
FAQ
What is an infographic image on Amazon?
A secondary listing image that combines the product with short text, icons or arrows to explain features and benefits at a glance. Shoppers use them to decide faster than reading the bullets.
Can the main image be an infographic?
No. The main image must be the product alone on a pure white background with no text. Infographics belong on the secondary images.
How much text is too much?
If you cannot read it comfortably on a phone, it is too much. A headline and two or three short callouts is usually enough, with each callout a few words.
What size should infographic images be?
Use the same minimum as other listing images: at least 1,000 px on the longest side so shoppers can zoom, and 1,600 px or more looks sharper. Square works well.
Can I make infographics without a designer?
Yes. You can build them in a design tool, or let ReddStudio create a coordinated set from your product photo. The free plan includes your first listing with a watermark, and paid plans remove it and add A+ Content.
