An example, made with Etsy picked
On October 26, 2026, this photo of a necklace went in with a title and 3 short details. Example product. The starting photo was made with AI too.

4 of the 5 squares. We left out one that added a second chain the necklace doesn't have. The woman is made with AI too.
What you get
- A first image shaped for Etsy. Landscape 4:3, the item centered with calm space on both sides, on a light, natural background. Etsy asks for a landscape or square first photo, so the middle shows in its cropped thumbnails.
- 5 more square images in the same style: a detail close-up, the item in use, the difference it makes, and styled scenes, with short callouts from your own details.
- Your words first. Callouts start from the title and details you type. Anything they add that you didn't say is flagged for you to check.
Etsy's photo sizes and shapes are in our Etsy listing photo size guide.
Etsy's rules on edited and AI photos
Etsy's Listing Image Requirements, last updated Oct 22, 2026, say three things that matter here:
- Keep one photo unedited. "For most products, you must include at least one unedited photo of the actual item against a real background."
- AI only if it stays accurate. "You may use photo editing software or AI-powered tools on your other listing images, provided the final result remains an accurate representation of the physical product."
- You can owe the refund. If the item is materially different from its images and "a buyer opens a case, Etsy may issue the buyer a refund, and you may be responsible for the refund amount."
ReddStudio redraws the whole picture, item included, so check every image against your real item before you use it, and keep your own photo in the listing next to these images. Your results page reminds you.

Questions
- Does Etsy allow AI-made listing images?
- Yes, on all but one photo. Etsy's Listing Image Requirements, last updated Oct 22, 2026, keep one photo of the real item unedited, and allow AI on the others only if each stays an accurate picture of the item. If an item is materially different from its images and the buyer opens a case, Etsy says you may be responsible for the refund. ReddStudio redraws the item, so check each image against the real one.
- Will it change how my item looks?
- It can. It redraws the whole picture, item included, so small details can drift. Check each image against the real item, and on a paid plan ask for changes.
- Can I use it for Amazon or Shopify too?
- Yes. Pick where you sell in the first step, and the first image follows that shop's rules.
