Amazon main image requirements
Pure white background
The background must be pure white, RGB 255, 255, 255. Light grey or off-white backgrounds can get the image suppressed.
Product fills 85% of the frame
The product should take up at least 85% of the image, with nothing cropped off.
1,000px or larger
At least 1,000px on the longest side so shoppers can zoom. 1,600px or more looks sharper. The maximum is 10,000px.
Accepted file format
JPEG (preferred), PNG, TIFF or non-animated GIF.
Product only
No text, logos, watermarks, badges, borders, props or extra items that are not included with the product.

Is this checker free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, and the check runs entirely in your browser, so your image is never uploaded.
What does "pure white" mean for Amazon?
Every background pixel should be exactly RGB 255, 255, 255. Many photos look white but are actually 245-254, which Amazon can flag.
How is the 85% fill measured?
The checker finds the product against the white background and measures how much of the frame its longest side covers.
Can it check for text or logos?
No. Text, logos, watermarks and props can't be detected reliably from pixels, so check those yourself before uploading.
